What’s the political fallout of Libby’s indictment?

The correct answer:sacred no cd .rar

Only hard-core political and news junkies — a distinct minority — give a hoot about PlameGate or whatever it’s called. Joe and Jane Average Voter wouldn’t know Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame from Brian Wilson and Ving Rhames.

That’s the answer expressed narratively. If expressedly numerically, the answer is: 0. Few things bore the American electorate as much as inside the Beltway stories of political intrigue. True, polibloggers and their readers may find this stuff interesting, even stimulating. (The blogosphere’s left hand is stroking furiously.) But we’re atypical.sacred no cd .rar

The polls indicate that people are paying attention and taking this quite seriously.sacred no cd .rar

The polls indicate that people are paying attention and taking this quite seriously.

No, the polls do not indicate that — or at least the poll you cite doesn’t. The poll to which you link indicates that people think the charge against Mr. Libby is serious and not minor. But the poll doesn’t indicate whether people are following the story or care about it. (You’ll note the pollster’s question is preceded by an explanation of who Mr. Libby is and what he was charged with, lest the average respondent have no clue.)sacred no cd .rar

I’d love for a pollster to ask, “Who is Scotter Libby?,” and then allow the respondents to answer free form. What percent do you think could correctly identify him? Maybe 20?sacred no cd .rar

By the way, without Googling it, who was Al Gore’s chief of staff? Don’t remember? Me neither, if ever even I knew. sacred no cd .rar

Polls Polls Polls I find it amazing that theres even an argument about the guilt or innocence of these thugs that are running the country. It doesnt matter that its JUST a chief of staff being indicted, all of this shows that hes just one of many liars and bullies in the white house. The fact that ANYONE would doubt that Karl Rove is not the mastermind of all of this, is astonishing, given his past history with this sort of vindictive hateful thing. The fact, as you say, that the american people wouldnt even be able to correctly identify Scooter Libby, is sickening, and, in the end, makes me believe that dumbed down americans get what they deserve. So, a president lying about a sexual encounter in the white house is obviously more interesting to a nation than their national security….Everything is a reality show, now, to the sheep, and this one is not as interesting because theres no sex in it……..greatsacred no cd .rar
