Iran: the hour is late

If you missed this post yesterday from Michelle Malkin, go now and absorb it. It’s long but well worth the read as it provides an excellent overview of the dilemmas now facing Israel and the United States vis-à-vis Iran.

As ya’ll know, I and others have been harping about this for months. But now the time is short and the options are few. If Mr. Bush is to be believed when he says a nuclear Iran is unacceptable, then we are on the verge of war.

We’re already at war. Though you’re exactly right: war with Iran- which will be a great deal more difficult to fight, and a great deal more difficult to win than the war in Iraq- may well be inevitable.

But then, given Iran’s place in the world of Islamofascism, it’s just a part of the war we’ve been fighting ever since 9/11. One thing’s sure: either the U.S. or- more likely- Israel is going to have to take those nuclear facilities out.
